Happy Monday folks! Do these woodcrafts look familiar? Do they look like Firecrackerkid Primitives woodcrafts? Yep, they are, and they're in Gina's home. Today I'm bringing you a "two fer". More customer appreciation photos from a repeat customer, as well as, featuring that same person, whom is one of my OFG group sisters, Gina, the Domestic Goddess of Cat Nap Inn Primitives. Yes, they are one in the same! Buying our woodcrafts to decorate her humble abode, plus she's my Etsy group sister. This Summer I had a big giveaway of one of our Early American Bowl Racks and Gina Won!
I don't think she quite knew what to do with it at first, but she soon figured it out. Then she was hooked and had to buy a peg rack, a blanket crane, a candle sconce, and an under the counter rolling pin dough bowl keep. Gina is a Prim addict, but that's a good thing I think. Now you can click on these photos to get a better view of her handmades as well as mine, but I'll tell ya, to see more of Gina's home, inside and out, go to her blog where she has lots and lots of great photos and picture slides. You'll also see why I dubbed her the "Domestic Goddess".
When Gina isn't buying Primitives or being a domestic goddess, you'll find her being quite creative herself with her sewing machine making a variety of handmade Primitives, and needfuls for mothers that she sells at her Etsy store Cat Nap Inn Primitives. Here's an interview we had with Gina to find out a little more about her and see some of her creations. Please enjoy!

What is the name of your Etsy shop and why did you choose that name? My etsy name is Cat Nap Inn Primitives and I chose the name after a painting on ebay I think said cat nap inn and we have 7 cats (I love, adore cats) and I love primitives... so I put the 2 together... I also have a garden gate that was design just for me that has 2 cats with angel wings and their tails form a heart and it says: Cat Nap Inn.How long have you been on Etsy? I joined in May of 2008, but only recently started selling in March...;)
What type of items do you offer? All sorts of things, I make aprons, curtains, towels, baby bibs, burp cloths, dolls and my latest thing are penny rugs, all machine embroidered. I love them. I love machine embroidery and try to incorporate it in my things. How long have you been crafting? For about 25 years.
Who or What inspires you? I love to surf the net for inspiration and that gets the creative juices flowing. It also keeps me up to date on what's hot for the year. There are so many wonderfully talented artists out there, so I find I am never at a loss for inspiration..:)
What is your favorite item in your shop and why? The penny rug (I have 2 more to complete). I love them and have been wanting to make them and finally took the plung..;)Other places where you can be found?
