Fresh From the Wood Shop & the Weather

Southeast OH is icy and the movie "2012" was on all week!
LOL... nah.
Front yard. This is our big pine that lost a few big branches from last years heavy snow.
Back yard, one branch down. More to go? I don't know how much more our po' trees can take.
I finally convinced hubby to put a drawer in our rolling pin rack! This one is unfinished and listed at Firecracker Kid Primitives at Etsy. I thought I'd let the customer tell me what color and finish they want. Although, I am itching to paint it... heehee.
The Old Farmhouse Gathering is still having their celebration through the 30th. Click on the pretty graphic to go shopping for your loved one.

You have until tonight at midnight to enter our VaLeNtiNe's DaY giveaway for your chance to win a Firecracker Kid Primitives Tuscan Red Chicken Nester!

Stay warm and crafty my friends!
Carol

Love the rolling pin rack with the drawer (I always need more places to "hide" things)! No ice here, just snow..the sun is shining nicely now.

We are surrounded by pines too...they just can't take the weight of ice & snow. Hope your boughs survive.. Blessings, Traci

Love your new rolling pin rack with the drawer. Another beautiful creation. I so enjoy drooling over the creations in your Etsy shop. I am saving in hopes to own one of your treasures someday!
Enjoy your weekend.

Love the drawer Carol !!

Yuck on the ice, and to think I am complaining because it was 70 yesterday but will only get up to 50 today, shame on me

Stay warm and safe

I like the idea of more storage spaces in the wall units, we can always use more room to put our things.

Hi Carol, ICE,,, yikes, I would love some snow, but not ice. Hope you don't loose power. I love the rolling pin rack with the drawer, but love all of your creations. Hope you can stay in and stay warm.

I like to paint things but im not good at it. I recently purchased a wooden shelf shaped into a dollhouse and painted it. I am going to post pictures when it dries. I love your rolling pin rack. The sunbonnet is sweet hanging from it.

I hate ice....driving in/on it, what it does to trees, and the inevitable loss of power here in Nod....Hope you stay safe and warm. We finally climbed out of the deep freeze (it was -37 windchills the other day) and warmed up a tad, but tomorrow we're back to snow. Yuk. Wishing you a bliss-filled Sunday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Great idea to add the drawer.
Southwest Ohio is icy too. We got snow and then ice on top of that.
