Firecracker Kid Primitives is joining in on this fun one offering our whale tail and lollipop candle boards with cut nails. Plus, made by my own hands, rolling pin cover all decked out for next years Christmas season. All these items are already marked down and ready to travel to their forever home.
Looky here, a local hardware vendor gave this stave barrel to hubby. It's new, but I figure I can paint it and grubby it up. What y'all think... mustard, black? What would you do?
Oh and Vinnie and I saw our first signs of snow today... yay! He doesn't look too excited about it though :o) Sloppy Joes are on the menu today. Uh huh, I think Vinnie would rather have that than snow.
Blessings,
Carol

I love the candle boards, I was lucky enough to find mine in consignments, with the grubby candles.

Vinnie and I feel the same way about snow!! We had a small sprinkling of it yesterday. However the high winds have made wonderful deep drifts. Kaden has spent the entire weekend with his cousins...so they are out wading through them as I type and sip coffee!! Ahhh....Katie
Your whale tail candle boards are great. What luck to get the barrel.
Maybe a brownish/red with stain showing thru?
Hey Carol love the barrel I think it would look great a scruffy looking rust color but mustard might be cool as well. Happy New Year to you and yours!!
Prim Blessing!!
Carol,
Love the barrel!! Hmmm...mustard or black? I think it would lookd great painted either one of those colors.
We got snow today too...not a lot, but enough to make it pretty outside.
hugs,
Cindy
How about mustard first and then red and then black and sand it so the other colors and then the wood shows through?
Snow here also, enough to not allow me to get out and walk...yuck!
