No Rest for the Weary

We went a lil Cottage Chic today as I listed this wall/door box and candle peg sconce with new photos at Firecracker Kid Primitives today. Plus I worked at finishing three orders... Phew! A busy busy day it was.
I forgot to show you this custom rolling pin keep for a customer. We also made another one for another customer who had the odd ended rolling pins. It was fun modifying for them.
Seems Timmy's work was a lot more interesting than mine today as Hermese and Vinnie decided to supervise him while he worked hard on the front porch.
Yep, it was a sunny hazy day, but good for demolition. Here Tim is yanking out, with the help of the beast, the last section of our old front porch.
Thar she goes, down to the burn pile. Tim was good and saved my quarry stone there and my flowering crab apple tree.
See that concrete sidewalk? Tim and the beast busted half of it up and hauled it to the ditch. So we had a productive day, me on my wood crafts and Timmy outside on the beast. It feels good!

Don't forget to look all around me for all the excitement going on with giveaways and celebrations. Join in the fun!
Blessings,
Carol

Evening Carol....isn't it fun seeing something come together (or I guess I should say...taken apart) for something to 'come together'. I love it when we have things like this going on at our house...I loooove to watch, hear work being done from yard work to building things...Hope we get to see a picture of the porch when finished.
Love the Chic designs...but they go great with any style I think.

Door & wall box both lovely. The kitties are having a time being entertained. Always good to see the furry creatures. That's a nice looking jeep you all have. This summer you will enjoy sitting on your new porch & no reason not to have some cook outs. Enjoy. Blessings!

Do your kitty sups hire out??? Mine seem to be sleeping on the job - and NOTHING'S getting done! (Well, ok, we are snow-covered and frigid - but is that any kind of excuse???) :o Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
