Just what this old gal needed. It's great when you make it on the front page of etsy, and Firecracker Kid Primitives has been lucky enough to have made it there a little more than a handful of times since joining etsy. This is great for sales and gaining potential customers. Thanks to A Needle in the Hay for including us in their treasury, and to Natalie of Tins and Treasures and Natalie's Notions, for giving me the heads up. If you sell on etsy, CraftCult is a good tool to check on your shoppes activities, and it's easy to navigate.
From the wood shop, we had fun making this dough bowl keep and cupboard for a customer and this is what she had to say about the cupboard after its' arrival. "Received the cupboard today and I LOVE it. It is exactly how I wanted it and just the right color. Thanks SOOO much."
Finished in New England Red and Village Tavern Blue with medium distressing.
For some kitty mischief... Since it got chilly again, I pulled out the kitty blankets I purchased from Kayleigh, who is the lovely daughter of Kim of Valley Primitive Stitches. Hercules still fits on it with little room to spare. Bella tried to make herself a comfy spot first until Hercules butted in and took over the whole blanket. That's why we got two of them. But, really though, they all share :o)
So here's little Bella looking a little bashful. Bella just hates having her picture taken, like me, but she's so much more photogenic than I am :o) Remember we gotta keep a good watch on our furry pets this Summer as a lot of ticks and fleas are gonna be hitchin' rides on them. We call our kitties "tick taxis". I hope I haven't given you the heebie jeebies!
Regarding my latest giveaway... I can't hold y'all in suspense any longer. So what have I been waiting for? We've been hung up on 24 comments all week. Not wanting to wait any longer, I gently yelled to hubby to pick a number between 1 and 23. You know you can comment, even if you're not interested in the prize. I want to welcome some new followers I've picked up too. So without further ado... Tim picked the lucky number
Now I'm excited to see what Vick does with this old thing with her talent to paint. It's hers to do with whatever she desires and I'm anxious to see what that'll be!
