Rain Rain Come Our Way

Well, here it is all finished in Rittenhouse Red and Pearwood.
The customer didn't want it distressed at all. Although I woulda loved to have sanded on it and mucked it up a bit. A couple ways to use it, with books or textiles.
Hubby planted me some sunflower seeds and they've been popping up.
As you can see, it's pretty dry and sparse here as we haven't had much rain. Hubby is gonna put some fertilizer around my sunflowers at my request. I'd like to see them get big and pretty.
Got to visit with Tiffany and Ryan over the weekend. They're all dressed up to go to a friend's wedding, so we snapped a photo of them.

Weve had a little rain. Still not enough though. However I think the farmers here are pretty lucky. Our corn looks great yet. In the southern part of the state I heard it's all dried up. The farmers are going to cut early and just use it for feed. So sad!!! katie

We got some rain a week ago and it has not been as hot, I will pray for some rain to make it's way to you guys.

Love the new piece and the quilts on it, never thought to display them like that, really nice idea. I planted some sunflowers a bit late, but they are coming up and fun to watch, so worth a packet of seeds;)

That's a pretty red, and my favorite "new" color is your Pearwood.
What a handsome couple Ryan and Tiffany make.
I love Andrea's signs!

Love the shelf Carol!

We need rain bad here. Even with all the storms that have been passing through we have only gotten a quarter inch. :(

We had wanted to plant sunflowers this year but got so busy on the farm, that we completely forgot. :(
