A finger nail that is, although there is a good chance I could break a real nail. Well, maybe not break, but bend one... LOL. Does that joke apply to women crafters too?
I love love this prim pretty. Hubby made this and of course I finished it and it really turned out nice. I used black milk paint and when it dried it crackled nicely letting the red show through. The arm measures 42 inches. I should keep it, but I've got it for sale on our sales blog. Gotta pay those taxes!
Ooops, here's another Whale Tail Quilt Crane!

She's here! My Granny Mouse from Carol of Buttermilk Creek Farm. I won the gift certificate in Brenda's Winter Wonderland giveaway and spent it in Carol's Etsy shoppe.
Here she is adorning my Fall gathering. She's eyeing those pumpkins for baking some good pumpkin cookies :-)
Hermes is my couch potato buddy. He hangs with me when I'm working on the laptop. Always starts out in the upright position, then slowly ends up in the prone position and even belly up sometimes, snoozing away.
It's that time of year and hubby has been trolling the woods watching a couple of bucks. This one has his back to us. Hubby's mom and dad own a beautiful 88 acres of woods.
Here's the other buck in the center of the photo.
Well, back to work with me. Working on another whale tail quilt crane and still rolling in those rolling pin keeps.

How awesome to be able to see Bucks like that.
I really like the design of the whale's tail piece.
That is another problem I have, no place to hang a towel near the shower, no wall space. I have a thin area next to the door and shower, so was thinking a prim hook would work best.

Carol, catching up on all your posts. Everything looks gorgeous. I am love with your cranes... I especially love the whale tail one...so unique. So happy to see you are still at it.
The poor deer are running right now, unfortunately onto the roads too. Have to be so careful
driving this time of year.
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Take care Carol.
Hugs,
Deb
