We had to say goodbye to Vinny and Ditto. Sadly I suspect our old girl Bella Donna too. She has been missing since Christmas eve and we can't find her. She is around the same age as Mr. Ditto was. Hoping and praying she'll come home soon.
Santa brought me this cow print from
Antique FarmHouse, which I found through
Miss Mustard Seed's blog. It's a big one and I'm gonna get a couple of tin candle sconces to replace those old wooden ones.
Daughter knows I love fresh flowers and gifted me with this orchid. I hope I can keep it alive.
Now we have five wonderful, loving, and precious fur babies, Bugsy, Lily, Ebonee, Hermes and Hercules. I wonder how many drop offs we'll get in 2013? We're certainly hoping and praying for a healthy, prosperous, and peaceful 2013, all over the world would be nice.

The end of 2012 can't come quickly enough for me. It's been a total bust!! BUT I've pledged to make many changes in 2013. Wishing you and the Hub a healthy, happy, creative New Year.

It is hard when our pets get older, but we love them and feed them and that is what makes them happy. My pup is on meds and doing ok, but it is only a matter of time before he takes a turn, he is my bud.

HOW BLESSED YOU ARE TO LOVE CATS THAT PEOPLE JUST THROW OUT.
We have 3 inside cats and 5 we take care of outside. We tried bringing Hobo in, but let's just say he has no bathroom etiquette and was put back outside to his house.

Carol, so sad when we have to say goodbye to our furbabies. Sadly I lost my first girl Pumpkin and just shortly afterwards my mom lost Pumpkins sister from a later litter. I pray Bella comes home, if nothing more than to be with her family in the end.
I had been itching for a new baby but not actively searching when one day a little gray fluff ball ran in front of my car. Malnurished and SO tiny. So a little boy was added to my mix. It's funny how they just happen along into our lives.
Hoping for a fresh new year coming!

Oh Carol I am so sorry to hear about your fur babies. It is really hard when you don't know what happened to one. We lost our Gizmo a long time ago and I still wonder if she found a new home. We have three now Stella, Layla and Luca and we keep them inside even though we live on a farm. We are close to the road and it breaks my heart when one get hit.
Hopefully you will have a healthy 2013 for your babies and for yourself.

Oh Carol....popped in for a visit and to wish you happy holidays and find this distressing news. I am so, so, sorry to hear about Vinny and Ditto...and still no Bella? Wow....what a sad streak you're on. Every time I lose a pet I vow "never again" (meaning "no more") - because I just don't deal with the loss well....but, here I am with 4....While our Snow Dog has some major issues, right now, I'm most worried about our little Shih Tzu (old age....) I can't imagine facing the loss of 3 at once. Will pray for a healing heart for you my friend. Hugs ~ Robin
